Today there is a vibrant community of people living in both the cottages and the renovated mill itself. While the cottages have modern amenities they feature wonderful vintage details from the past and have fireplaces, front and sometimes back porches and great views of the Historic Village on the Haw River. Cottage tenants have access to plots in community gardens and lawn maintenance, and many other details are handled by the rental staff. The River is within walking distance from all of the Cottages, some have River Front views. The Cottages are a short commute from Carrboro, Chapel Hill and Burlington yet they offer space, serenity and scenery that you can't get in town and all at very affordable rates.
