2011 Music Series Schedule



Yearly on Saturdays - First Weekend of May thru end of August
Farmer's Market 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Music 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Sorry No Dogs Allowed

The Music Series features great bands all summer long. The music starts each night at 6 and runs till the close of the market around 8:00. Snack on the Farmers’ Market goodies, or Barbecue and Catfish Sandwiches or bring a picnic and a blanket and spread out on the beautiful hill above the market. We’ve got dancers and hoopers and Christmas lights in all the trees. It’s a beautiful way to spend your evening outside under the stars on a hillside above the Haw River. Bands play on our Haywagon stage. Here’s the line up!

Hard Hat Gala
8 pm to 10 pm

A sneak peak at The Haw River Ballroom with a behind-the-scenes Hard Hat Gala featuring the Haw River Supergroup a one night only consortium of local musicians from many of our favorite local bands and Saturdays in Saxapahaw favorites singing songs about the river. Think 'Down By The Riverside" Beta. ONE NIGHT ONLY ! 8-10pm donations at the door for the Haw River Assembly
